    Dumpster Rental Contract

    Terms & Conditions:

    I, the customer requesting service, agree to the following terms and conditions for rental of described services, at the service address given above.

    Pricing & Payments:

    1. Customer agrees to pay the base fee for the selected container: 10-yard $449 (1 ton included), 15-yard $549 (1.5 tons included), 20-yard $599 (2 tons included), or concrete-only $499 (3 tons included), as well as any overages incurred due to overloading or additional days requested by the customer. The container includes up to the tonnage included with the selected size, however due to strict weight limitations and associated dump fee any additional materials will be billed at $160 per ton above the included tonnage.

    2. Customer is responsible for any additional fees assessed by the landfill for certain items such as tires each ($10 - $25), eeach TV or monitor ($55), each Appliance with Freon ($55), each mattress or box spring ($75).

    3. The container rental includes use for up to 7 days. If the container is kept longer than the seven days, there will be an additional fee of $10.00 per day.

    4. Payment for all base fees as well as any known additional rental day fee will be due upon delivery of the dumpster. Any additional fees due to overweight or other fees not paid upon delivery are due upon the day of the dumpster pick up.

    5. Customers are not allowed to load the container over the brim! (no exception)

    6. Customers are responsible for all weather-related additional charge, such as rain or snow.

    7. A travel fee of $0–$50 may apply depending on your delivery address. The exact fee is quoted before booking and is due upon delivery.

    Dumpster Use:

    While the dumpster is in your possession, you will not place or allow to be placed into the dumpster:

    1. Substances hazardous to health such as toxic or corrosive or liquids

    2. Cans, drums or other container of any kind unless emptied and crushed and incapable of carrying any liquid

    3. Paint cans, oil, gasoline, diesel, light bulbs

    4. Medical waste or animal carcasses of any kind

    5. Any material not listed above however considered unsuitable for containment e.g. malodorous waste: asbestos, paint, gas bottle, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, vehicle batteries, household appliances such as but not limited to refrigerators, air conditioners, tires, mattress, any appliances with freon.

    6. Extremely heavy material such as rock, dirt, or concrete. Please let us know and we can help you dispose of such heavy items in a more efficient manner.

    7. All refuse shall remain within the confines of the dumpster and shall not exceed the top or sides. Every attempt shall be taken to equally disperse the weight of the refuse within the dumpster.

    8. Customer shall be liable for any loss or damage to rented equipment in excess of reasonable wear and tear.

    Access and Ground Conditions:

    1. The customer will be responsible for the provision of free and suitable access to and from the delivery site (including the removal and reinstatement of local obstructions) and for ensuring suitable ground conditions for delivery, placement and removal of the dumpster. No responsibility will be accepted for the damage to any surface. Free driveway protection boards are provided on request.

    2. Should the container cause damage to concrete or asphalt during loading or unloading, Hippo Disposal is only responsible if this is due to our negligence. We have specifically identified that heavy containers may cause damage and that the placement of those heavy containers.

    3. Should the customer fail to return the container, Hippo Disposal maintains the right to enter upon the premises where the container may be without notice and take possession of and remove it at the customer's expense all without legal process, the customer hereby waiving any claims for damages from any such entry or removal.

    Weight limit for the selected size (1 ton for 10-yard, 1.5 tons for 15-yard, 2 tons for 20-yard, 3 tons for concrete-only); any weight above the included amount will be $160/ton.
    All refuse shall remain within the dumpster and shall not exceed the top or sides!
    Customer is responsible for all weather-related weight such as snow and rain.
    Additional charge of $10.00 per day after seven days rental period.
    All gravel, cements, dirt or shingles are not to exceed two feet above the floor of dumpster.
